New Beginner and Expert Certifications Utilizing New Ekahau Pro and Ekahau Connect Now Available

Reston, VA. – May 1, 2019.  Ekahau, the global leader for Wi-Fi network design, optimization and troubleshooting, announces the launch of Ekahau University and new ECSE Design and ECSE Advanced certifications. These new courses build on the company’s highly regarded ECSE training that is highly recommended for Wi-Fi professionals.

Ekahau University will offer a range of continuing education options including ECSE Design and ECSE Advanced as well as Ekahau’s Quick Start On-Demand Video,  Sales Engineer Onsite Trainingwebinars and other on-demand videos.

“I’m super excited about the upcoming Ekahau University launch – largely due to the terrific content that they have a track record of delivering. When I recall the ECSE course I took several years back, it stood out in my mind as one of the best courses for Wi-Fi Design that I’ve ever been a part of. There was something for everyone, beginner through expert – and all levels in between,” said Sam Clements, CWNE #101, Mobility Practice Manager at Presidio. “The material was so well developed that we made it the gold standard of our Mobility team. I look forward to expanded content on more topics developed and delivered in the same world-class fashion.”

Ekahau’s ECSE training has been revered by thousands of Wi-Fi professionals over the years for providing a solid foundation for Wi-Fi network design and planning.  The new courses are built off of this globally successful certification program and are designed to enhance students’ Wi-Fi and Ekahau solution skill sets.

The new ECSE Design course is a 4-day, instructor-led course that reviews Wi-Fi network design fundamentals utilizing the power of Ekahau Pro and Ekahau Connect. It qualifies for 26 BICSI Continuing Education Credits (CECs).

The new ECSE Advanced course is a 3-day, instructor-led course that offers a deeper dive into more complex and advanced topics such as advanced reporting, packet capture and throughput testing.  It qualifies for 16 BICSI Continuing Education Credits (CECs).

“We’ve taught over 4,000 people how to design wireless LANs using Ekahau. This year, Ekahau has come out with a couple of new courses. ECSE Design is a great class. It has all of the previous features of ECSE, but we’ve added Ekahau Connect features including Survey for iPad and packet capture. If you’re interested in the high-end aspects of Ekahau, sign up for the ECSE Advanced course,” said Keith Parsons, Managing Director of Wireless LAN Professionals and Lead Ekahau Instructor. “We’re glad thousands of people have decided to attend, enjoy and pass the test for ECSE. I’m looking forward to many more years of Ekahau classes.”

“We understand that continuing education is very important, especially in an industry where things are constantly evolving,” said Jonathan Eisner, Vice President for Global Sales at Ekahau. “These new courses empower our customers to more efficiently design, optimize and troubleshoot Wi-Fi networks – ultimately saving them time and money.”
